Golden Age Musical Classic Takes the Stage February 7 – March 9, 2025

San Diego Musical Theatre (SDMT) is thrilled to announce the first production of its 2025 season, Hello, Dolly!, running from February 7 through March 9, 2025. Performances will be held at the SDMT Stage in Kearny Mesa, with the official press opening on Saturday, February 8.

One of Broadway’s most beloved musicals, Hello, Dolly! is a high-spirited story of a meddlesome matchmaker determined to find love for the grumpy Horace Vandergelder. Filled with humor, romance, show-stopping dance numbers, and unforgettable songs, this timeless musical has won ten Tony Awards and inspired four Broadway revivals, solidifying its place as a classic.

Directed by Randy Slovacek, choreographed by Xavier J. Bush, and musically directed by Richard Dueñez Morrison, the creative team promises a vibrant, heartwarming production.

Set design is by Mike Buckley, lighting design by Michelle Miles, sound design by Jordan Gray, costume design by Chong Mi Land, and more, creating a full, immersive theatrical experience.
