By A Bold New Musical Comedy Heads to Broadway Following San Diego Debut
The Old Globe is thrilled to announce the cast and creative team for the highly anticipated pre-Broadway engagement of Regency Girls, a raucous and daring new musical comedy. The production features a book by Emmy-winning writers Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan (Seinfeld, Scrubs, Veep), music by three-time Emmy-nominated composer Curtis Moore (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), and lyrics by two-time Tony and Grammy nominee Amanda Green (Mr. Saturday Night, Bring It On: The Musical). Josh Rhodes (Spamalot, Cabaret) directs and choreographs this uproarious story of love, rebellion, and self-discovery.
Performances begin April 2 and run through May 4, 2025, on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage at The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego’s Balboa Park, with an official opening on Thursday, April 10. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 21 at 12 p.m. PST via TheOldGlobe.org.
